Windows shared folder settings in LAN

Win7, win8 and win10 are all set up in this way

1. Enable network sharing:

Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center -> Modify advanced sharing settings, select it under the "Guest or Public" column:

"Turn on network discovery" and "Turn on file and printer discovery"



 

 

2. Right-click the folder you want to share -> Properties -> Sharing -> Advanced Sharing, then check "Share this folder"



 
 

 

3. Then set the read and write permissions, the default is only read permissions, click "Permissions". Full control, modification, read-only can be checked


 

4. Click Finish, and then you can see the shared path:


 

 

After the setup is complete, to access the shared folder in the LAN, enter: \\LAN ip in the address bar of the explorer . For example: \\192.168.1.101
