Add shared folder
VMWare provides shared folder functionality. The premise is to install VMware tools in the virtual machine
1. Install VMware tools
There will automatically be a compressed package VMwareTools-9.9.0-2304977.tar.gz in /media/VMware Tools/ in the virtual machine.
$ cp VMwareTools-9.9.0-2304977.tar.gz /home/
$ tar -zxvf VMwareTools-9.9.0-2304977.tar.gz
$ cd vmware-tools-distrib/
$ ./vmware-install.pl
Fully automatic installation, enter in the end.
2. Shared folders
After starting Linux, the shared folders will be automatically displayed in /mnt/hgfs/ in Linux.
