ModelGoon: Reverse UML Eclipse Plugin

The company lost a project for our interns to look at, and then I thought, I can look at the UML diagram first, but our requirements description document is not on it, I suddenly remembered what the teacher said before that we can use Start UML to reverse UML. Then I tried it and found that jdk1.4 and above are not supported. Then I thought that there should be a plug-in on Eclipse that can be reversed, and then I tried many plug-ins and applications on Google: ArgoUML, Plant UML, Green UML, Start UML... How to say? The related tools are relatively old, all kinds of hard to use, and anti-human. Reversing an ordinary class diagram requires various tedious steps.

Later found a very useful, very simple Eclipse plug-in: ModelGoon UML . Official website: http://www.modelgoon.org/

Here's how to install and use it:

*There are many installation methods:

1. Download directly through Eclipse MarketPlace: search for " ModelGoon". But if you visit the above website, you will find that you can't log in, and it seems that you need to surf the Internet scientifically (here Amway xx-net, this plugin is very easy to use! But if you have high requirements for scientific Internet access, it is recommended to build a VPS+ abroad by yourself Shadow Sock? . . ). So don't talk about this. It should be possible to configure the Eclipse proxy though. I'm too lazy to check.

2. Download the .jar file and extract it to the plus-in folder of Eclipse. Restart Eclipse.

3. By downloading the site. zip package to install.

Now I will talk about the third one.

1. Download: ModelGoon-4.4.1-site.zip file.

If you have a proxy, go directly to the download: http://www.modelgoon.org/downloads/ModelGoon-4.4.1-site.zip  Remember to configure the proxy on the download tool.

If you don't have it, use Baidu Cloud. I just uploaded it: link: https://pan.baidu.com/s/1eS82BFO Password: rt9x If it fails, let me know.

2. Install the plugin locally on Eclipse:

3. Add local files.

4. Click: archive

5. Select the "ModelGoon-4.4.1-site.zip" you just downloaded

6. Click OK

7. Check it, then next (mine has already been installed, so I can't click)

8. Accept.

 9. Wait. You can see the progress bar in the lower right corner.

 10. During the installation process, he will prompt you if you are sure to install untrusted plug-ins. Just click OK.

 11. When the installation is complete, you will be prompted whether to restart Eclipse. Then restart is fine.

Comes with official installation method (requires scientific Internet access): http://www.modelgoon.org/?page_id=75

Instructions:

1. Create a new ModelGoon UML diagram. ModelGoon UML provides 3 kinds of UML diagrams (class  diagram, interaction diagram, package dependencies diagram).

Right-click the project that needs to generate a UML diagram--->new------>other (or shortcut key ctrl+n)

2. Search: "Diagram" and find several more file types:

3. Select the first one: Class Diagram, and then give it a name. Then generate a blank mgc file

4. Directly select the class for which you need to generate a class diagram, then drag it into the file just now, and find that it will automatically help you associate it.

5. At present, I haven't found a way to make the class diagram automatically typeset. . . . So you need to arrange it one by one.

6. Generate timing diagrams if needed. Then select the method of one of the class diagrams-------"Right click-------" show sequence

7. You can see the corresponding timing diagram.
