ArcGIS 10.1 has tile service released
the first method:
1) Prepare the tile data, open it with ArcMap and view it as follows:
If there is no picture in the current view, please edit notepad to edit the scope information of the conf.cdi file as shown below:
2) Step 2: Prepare the shp file ( create an empty shp file with the catalog ) , and make its coordinate system consistent with the coordinate system of the tile data. If it is inconsistent, it can be specified in the catalog :
Click the icon Add Coordinate System , find the tile location, and import the coordinates.
3) Use ArcMap to add the shp file, and zoom the map range to the tile range (you can add the tile layer first, and then remove it after setting the range).
4) Open ArcGIS Server Properties in the catalog and add a custom cache directory.
5) Register the folder of the shp file in the catalog , open ArcGIS Server Properties , select the Data Store tab, and then click the Add Registered Folder button. This step is to prevent Coping data to server during the cache process .
6) Save the mxd with any name, such as sampleRaster.mxd , and publish the service to enter the service editor interface:
7) Select Caching , select Using tiles from a cache, copy the conf.xml of the tile sample data and put it in another folder, and select it:
8) Click Advanced Settings ,
l Delete unnecessary scales (if there are extra scales than tiles)
l Select Cache directory , select the cache directory you added in the catalog before
l 选择Minimum cached scale
l 选择Maximum cached scale
l 选择area of interest to cache为Current extent of the map
配置如下：
9) 发布服务，点击Publish，然后将caching强制停止，点击Cancel Caching：
10)用已有瓦片覆盖强行终止的瓦片。
11)完成，程序调用如下：
第二种方法：
1、 先将瓦片数据放入自定义的缓存目录下，如D:\data\sample\wmts，给瓦片服务起名为sampleRaster，包含瓦片文件夹Layers：
2、 打开shp文件，缩放至瓦片范围，保存mxd，名称要和瓦片服务的名字一致，都为sampleRaster。
3、 发布服务，,参考第一种方法。注意选择Cache directory，选择自定义cache目录D:\data\sample\wmts。点击Publish的时候，服务即发布成功，不需要强行停止caching，也不要覆盖瓦片。
