Environment: Mac10.11.5+Outlook 2016
Recently, Outlook prompted that the server space was full. I asked my colleagues initially, and they said that I had to manually go to the server to delete emails. This is too old-fashioned.
Later, I heard an expert say that the use of archive can delete the mail from the server, and save the file locally.
step:
1. In the upper left corner, OutLook->Preferences->General->Uncheck [Hide in My Computer Folder].
2. At this point, there will be an additional [On My Computer] folder in the inbox.
3. Create a new folder under it and name it Archive.
4. Click on the rule in the toolbar -> edit rule -> on my computer -> click on the right + -> the rule is set to automatically move to the archive when the delivery date is greater than 10 days.
