Install CentOS6.5 using VMware virtual machine

1. Configure a virtual environment for the system (preparation stage)

    1. File --> New Virtual Machine

    2. Here we need to select Custom, the next step

    3. Continue to the next step, enter this interface, we select "Install the operating system later". Next step

(The reason is that we are only assigning a virtual environment to the virtual machine, and the image file can be selected last)

    4. Here you need to choose the system type, you should choose Linux, and CentOS64 or CentOS according to your own decision (64-bit and 32-bit)

    5. Name the virtual system and the storage location of the virtual machine (the location can be changed, just like the installation path assigned by the installation software to the software)

    6. No need to change, one is enough, the next step

    7. Allocate virtual memory. If the memory is less than 8G, you can choose 1G. If the memory is larger than 8G, you can choose 2G.

(The larger the allocated memory, the smoother the system will run in the virtual machine)

8, network settings, select the second

    9. Go to the next step, come to the allocated disk size, 20G is enough, select "Save virtual disk as a single file"
