Introduction to pgAdmin III

To open a connection to a service, select the desired service in the tree and double-click it, or use Connections on the Tools menu.

local all all trust
# IPv4 local connections:
host all all 127.0.0.1/32 trust
host all all 192.168.2.0/24 trust
host all all 192.168.23.53/32 trust

2. When starting postgresql, add "- i" this parameter

$ /usr/local/pgsql/bin/postmaster -D/var/database/pgsql/data/ -i &

In this way, you can access the Postgresql database through TCP/IP. The default communication port for Postgresql is 5432.
