MyEclipse usage summary - MyEclipse10 installs the SVN plugin
1. Download the SVN plugin subclipse
Download address: http://subclipse.tigris.org/servlets/ProjectDocumentList?folderID=2240
Find the latest version of subclipse in the opened website, as shown below:
After the download is complete, a compressed package file is obtained, as shown in the following figure:
2. Install the SVN plugin subclipse in MyEclipse10
Proceed as follows:
1. Find the dropins folder of MyEclipse10 in the installation directory
2. Open the dropins folder and create a new svn folder
3. Unzip the downloaded compressed package
After unzipping, you will get a folder, open the folder and you will see the following files in it
Copy the features and plugins folders to the SVN folder under the dropins folder
In this way, the SVN plugin can be installed in MyEclipse10.
3. Use the SVN plugin in MyEclipse10
After installing the SVN plug-in, start MyEclipse. At this time, the startup will be slow, because MyEclipse has to download some related Jar files. When entering the workspace after MyEclipse is started, it will automatically pop up that the associated files have been automatically downloaded. The completed prompt dialog box, as shown in the following figure
3.1 View the installed SVN
Click [Window]----->[Show View]------>[Other…] on the menu, as shown below:
In the pop-up [Show View] dialog box, you can see the installed SVN plug-in, as shown in the following figure:
3.2 Connect to the SVN server through the SVN client in MyEclipse
The following screen will pop up
Click [Finish], and then a dialog box will pop up asking for a user name and password. Enter the correct user name and password to connect to the specified SVN server, as shown in the following figure:
