The role of common directories in Linux

A common first-level directory

 

 

Notice:

1. Bin and sbin in the root directory, bin and sbin in the usr directory, these four directories are used to save system commands.

2. The commands in the bin directory can be executed by any user, and the commands in the sbin directory can only be executed by the super user.

3. Media is used to mount CDs, misc mounts tape drives, and mnt mounts U disks. They are all empty directories.

4. The proc and sys directories cannot be operated directly. These two directories store memory mount points.

5. You can put content in the home directory root or home, as well as in the tmp directory.
