Since the school is very ordinary (two ordinary books in Guangzhou), it is not as smooth as a famous school to send a resume or find a job, but I still have a heart to go to a big factory .
My plan is to submit a resume in the second year of my sophomore year and accumulate interview experience. At the same time, if I can receive an offer from a (small) company, I will go to a (small) company for an internship. After all, if I can have an internship experience, I can have a little more advantage than my peers. .
On June 15, 2019, I started to submit my resume. There are many delivery channels, including the official website, public account, Lagou.com, etc. On June 17, I received an interview invitation from a small company in Guangzhou, and asked me to go to Guangzhou on June 18. I am quite happy to participate in the interview in Tianhe District. After all, this is the first time in my life that I have received an interview invitation.

However, after receiving the interview invitation, I was not nervous at all, and my heart was very calm, as if the 18th was going out to play instead of interviewing.
The day before the interview, I learned the background of that company and reviewed my own resume, including the following

Self-introduction to
Java basics
JVM memory management and garbage collection
The difference between Java and PHP (because I wrote on my resume that I can quickly develop simple projects in PHP)
Ajax request process
Computer network (mainly layering and TCP/IP connection )
... whether willing to work overtime

The next morning, the class was full, and I ate bread and milk between classes at 12:40. At 12:40, I took the school bus to downtown Guangzhou. On the bus, I reviewed the knowledge points such as TCP/IP connection establishment. It took more than an hour. (There was a small traffic jam during the period), and finally arrived in the urban area of Guangzhou (the school is in a remote mountainous area of Guangzhou, so it is relatively far to go to the urban area). Immediately catch the subway to the designated location, and there are 15 minutes to start the interview.
When I arrived at the interview site, because it was a start-up company, the working environment was relatively simple. It was visually estimated that the floor of more than 100 square meters included four or five companies, and the programmers were gathered together. That floor was separated by many rooms for written tests, Meeting, office.
The interviewer (and the boss) asked me to do two sets of papers for a total of 45 minutes.
When I saw the test paper, I still took the math test. The types of questions include

Find the indefinite integral
Matrix size
Probability
Find the regularity of the sequence
Find the variance
TCP connection process
Read a paragraph of English to give you an overview of the meaning of a noun

But is this really a Java job? I can't help but be a little skeptical. Fortunately, another set of papers is indeed examining Java. The types of topics include:

Java basic data types How to
declare variables
Give you a condition to write a judgment expression
Write the result of a bit operation
Give you a certain program and write out the running result
Database query statement
Programming questions

I basically wrote all the Java questions. Except for the last programming question, maybe I didn’t understand well and didn’t come up with the meaning of the questions. In addition, I could write the math questions as long as I could. After all, my math scores were really average. . .
45 minutes later, the interviewer took me into a small room and handed me my resume

Interviewer : "Introduce yourself first", while reading my resume
Me : "balabala..."
Interviewer : "Which school are you from" (since I didn't write the school on the resume)
Me : "I am XXXXXX College "The
interviewer marked the resume.
Interviewer : "Did you bring your transcript?"
Me : "Yes, yes," and took out the transcript . The
interviewer looked at the transcript , "Why do you have so many electronic courses?" "
Me : "Haha, it's the school's arrangement, there's no way" The
interviewer was very puzzled : "Why did you come out so late to look for a job, is it because of the postgraduate entrance examination?"
Me : "No, I'm only a sophomore"
interview The officer suddenly realized that he flipped through my resume again,
"Oh, so, maybe my colleague made a mistake, we are recruiting seniors here, I'm sorry."
I said , "It's alright."
... The
interviewer read My written test results and my transcripts , "That's right, your current abilities don't quite meet our company's requirements, I'm sorry"
I : "It's fine, thank you, thank you"
Interviewer : "Bring back the transcripts. Well, I'll keep the resume, if you need it in the future, I can contact you"
Me : "Okay, thank you"

Then I left and the interviewer went on to interview another person.
Not a single technical question was asked!
But it's okay. My expectation is that I will hang up today, and I don't have much hope. I just treat the interview as a process of accumulating experience. It's a pity that I didn't ask technical questions.
After returning to school, I will make up for the deficiencies in today's written test (such as bit operations), and prepare for the final exam. The sky of the school is still better than the urban area.

Summarize

Sophomore year, it is neither too early nor too late for me. I will choose to invest in small factories in my second year to gain experience, and then in my third and fourth year to invest in big factories . what to hope for).
Some bosses of famous schools will say, " If you want to invest, you should invest in a big factory, and a small factory should not think about it ", " a small factory is a waste of time ", " a small factory is worthless " and so on, but I still want to say, Not everyone is a 985, 211, and not everyone has a chance to invest in a big factory. I will still choose to stick to my own strategy.
Perhaps, there are always some doubts and ridicules in the pursuit of dreams, but please don't pay attention to those people's words, it must be difficult and painful before success! I also hope that everyone can stick to their dreams, come on!
