Today, I installed tomcat on Alibaba Cloud server ecs for the first time, and then started tomcat. Enter ip: port locally and find that it cannot be accessed.
The reason for this may be that the server you purchased is a private network type
If it is a VPC type server, you need to configure the security group policy, and then restart the Alibaba Cloud server to allow access from the external network
Then click Configure Rules
Click Add Security Group Rule

After the addition is complete, let's access the ip: port
The following page appears indicating that it can be successfully accessed
