Data Assets Overview

After data collection, integration, processing and other processes are completed, it can be systematically managed in the data asset module.

Dataphin's data asset function, based on the specifications and methodology of data asset management, helps you to carry out inventory evaluation of data assets:

• It supports automatic extraction and analysis of metadata, and visualizes the construction of a big picture of data assets, which is convenient for managers to discover and understand the value of data assets.
• It supports full-link inventory analysis of computing, storage, security, and applications in data production, finds problems, and provides governance optimization solutions. Help you reduce costs and improve performance from the data level.
• Supports viewing the visualization of modeling R&D data results and data presentation details.

The asset panorama includes global, fluid and structured patterns:

• The global mode shows you the business sector with a large amount of data and its total amount of data in the form of a planet.
• The flow mode shows the inflow, integration and output process of data, and reflects the ability of the data center.
• Structural mode, representing business entities with material components of different shapes, and representing different business process relationships between entities with lines of different styles. It clearly shows you the data structure under the same business section.

global mode

1. Log in to the Dataphin console.
2. On the Dataphin console page, after selecting the workspace region, click Enter Dataphin>>.
3. On the Dataphin home page, click Assets in the top menu bar.
4. On the data assets page, follow the instructions below to enter the global page.
