02 Installation
Right-click FiddlerSetup.exe to run as administrator, if the user control window pops up, click [Yes]
In the following authorization window that pops up, click [I Agreee]
In the installation directory window, select the fiddler installation directory, click [Install]
In the installation window, wait for the installation progress bar box to turn green, that is, to complete the installation program decompression
Then in the installation complete window, click [Close]

1. When installing fiddler for the first time,
click the menu item "Tools" > "Options..." in turn, in the pop-up Options window, click the tab "HTTPS";
As shown in the screenshot below:
In the HTTPS tab of the Options window, check "Decrypt HTTPS traffic", then "Ignore server certificate errors(unsafe)"
In the HTTPS tab of the Options window, click "Actions" > "Export Root Certificate to Desktop"
At this point, download the root certificate to the local desktop
Then enter in the chrome browser address bar: chrome://settings/
Then follow the screenshot below to import the downloaded certificate
Then restart fiddler, chrome
2. If fiddler is not installed for the first time,
if you have already installed fiddler, uninstall and reinstall fiddler, and perform the following operations:
Clear files
First, clear all certificate files, which are roughly located in the RSA directory of the root directory of the C drive, and delete all the contents of the searched RSA directory.
For example, C:\Windows\System32\Microsoft\Crypto\RSA
Clear the root certificate
[Win+R], enter: certmgr.msc, in the pop-up certmgr certificate window, click the menu item "Operation" > "Find Certificate".
In the pop-up Find Certificate window, enter the search keyword fiddler in the Contains text box, and click Find Now.
As shown in the screenshot below, delete all found fiddler certificates.
Clear browser certificate files
Enter chrome://settings/ in the browser address box, and then enter a search keyword in the search box,
In the certificate window, click the tab "Trusted Root Certification Authorities", find the record with the words FiddlerRoot and delete it.
Reset the fiddler certificate
In the fiddler window, click the menu item "Tools" > "Options...",
in the Options window, click the HTTPS tab, click Actions > Reset All Certificates
The User Account Control window pops up, click [Yes]
Restart
Then restart the chrome browser and the fiddler packet capture tool.
Note: The above 5 steps are for the case where the fiddler certificate has been installed.
