Beijing University
Peking University currently has four colleges with microelectronics-related majors:
School of Information Science and Technology, School of Software and Microelectronics, School of Information Engineering in Shenzhen, and School of Integrated Circuits newly established in July 2021.

In terms of advantages, as one of the top universities in China, Peking University has strong devices and MEMS, and its devices are among the top in China.
In terms of single-handed circuit design, analog and RF strengths are stronger than digital.

Tsinghua University
The School of Integrated Circuits at Tsinghua University was established in April 2021, formerly the Department of Micro-Nano Electronics/Institute of Microelectronics.
At present, the recruits are all postgraduates. Jigong will live in Shenzhen for the first semester, and then return to the headquarters to do scientific research; Jigong will spend the first year in Beijing, and then go to the company to do projects.
As another top university in China, Tsinghua University is very strong in the direction of circuits, especially design, which must be top.
ISSCC 2022 has the largest number of selected papers from Tsinghua University - 9 papers, and 6 papers were selected last year. In fact, Tsinghua University has always been the leader among mainland universities.

Chinese Academy of Sciences University
The School of Microelectronics of UCAS, established in 2013, was renamed as "School of Integrated Circuits" just last month (23.2.2022).
The great thing about UCAS is that it has 116 research institutes. These two are both schools' training units, but there are some differences in the training methods.
The Institute of Microelectronics is still focused on studying for a master’s degree and doing scientific research; most of the students in the School of Integrated Circuits will go to the company for direct internships in the second grade, and the third grade will return to the Institute of Microelectronics to complete their graduation thesis.
Fudan University
Fudan School of Microelectronics was established in April 2013, and its predecessor was the semiconductor physics major founded by Professor Xie Xide in 1958. There is a State Key Laboratory of Application-Specific Integrated Circuits and Systems, which is still the only one in China.
Fudan's microelectronics is divided into fine areas, the types are relatively complete, and the faculty is also very strong. In terms of design, there is nothing to say, it is definitely a top level, and the industry recognition is also very high. If you want to engage in digital IC design, Fudan Microelectronics is definitely a good choice.
ISSCC 2022 Fudan Papers have been selected for 3 papers, ranking third among domestic universities. Moreover, the only one related to "digital circuits" in China is one of the three articles published by Fudan University.
Shanghai Jiaotong University
One thing to say, the reputation and brand of Shanghai Jiaotong University are still very loud. The Department of Micro-Nano Electronics of Shanghai Jiaotong University belongs to the School of Electronic Information and Electrical Engineering.
There are digital, analog, RF, and process materials in the department, and the digital contains the design direction. It is said that the teachers have good qualifications and reputation in the industry. Interested students can learn more about them.

Southeast University
The School of Microelectronics was established in 2003. It was previously called the School of Integrated Circuits. It was renamed when the 9 demonstration schools were approved in 2015. There are laboratories in Nanjing, Wuxi, and Suzhou. It is understood that the Master of Science is located in Nanjing, and the Master of Science is located in Wuxi.
Southeast University's RF, analog, and digital strengths are quite strong. It is still very good to be able to choose a design. It is said that there were basically no offers below 40W last year.
In terms of recognition in the industry, Fudan Microelectronics ranks first in East China, and Southeast Microelectronics ranks second, especially when looking for a job.
Regarding the ISSCC, one was selected in 2020 and 2021, but not in 2022.
Because before the integrated circuit was established as a first-level discipline, the major of microelectronics belonged to "electronic science and technology". In terms of discipline evaluation, Southeast University and Qingbei were rated as A-level.

Zhejiang University
A traditional engineering school, Zhejiang University's School of Micro-Nano Electronics = School of Microelectronics, established in May 2015. There are many innovation laboratories in the School of Microelectronics of Zhejiang University, and they are involved in EDA, design, device technology, and packaging and testing.
There are currently three research institutes, with different directions. It is said to be as follows:
Institute of Advanced Integrated Circuit Manufacturing Technology: engages in chip manufacturing, and has a 12-inch chip production line.
VLSI Design Institute: engage in circuit design.
Institute of Micro-Nano Electronics Frontier Technology: engage in new materials and devices.
ISSCC 2022 Zhejiang University's papers, like Fudan, are all selected for three papers. From this point of view, Zhejiang University's ability to issue papers is indeed good.

University of Electronic Science and Technology of China
The exemplary microelectronics college before Chengdian was the College of Microelectronics and Solid State Electronics, which merged with the other two colleges in 2018 to form the current College of Electronic Science and Engineering.

As far as strength is concerned, the microelectronics of the two powers are definitely among the best in the country. In terms of recognition in employment, the two power companies must also be on the list.

Xidian University
