Solidworks study notes (2)--assembly design

1.  Overview: A product is often composed of multiple parts. The assembly module is used to establish the positional relationship between the parts. The positional relationship between the parts is realized by adding coordination.

Part: The basic unit that makes up parts and products

Component: It can be a part or the assembly result of multiple parts, which constitutes the main unit of the product

Assembly: Also known as a product, it consists of the mating relationship between components and components

  Mates: Relative Constraints Between Components

2.  Create a new assembly: file new assembly, insert parts, insert fit

 Matching: Coaxial coincidence coincidence

Magnifying glass: leave the mouse pointer on the assembly, press the G key, the magnifying glass will open, press G or esc again to exit

3.  Component array: linear array, circular array, pattern driven

Linear pattern: Copy a component in the specified direction, insert the component pattern linear pattern

D1 is the distance of the parts after the array

Circular Pattern: Insert Component Pattern Circular Pattern

A datum axis needs to be set first (insert reference geometry datum axis)

Pattern-driven: Copy a component with reference to the pattern feature of a component in the assembly

Insert Component Pattern Pattern Driver, select the screw driver features or components to be patterned as screw holes

4.  Parts mirroring: The two parts are symmetrical about a certain plane, and the original parts can be mirrored and copied.

Insert mirrored components, select the mirror plane to determine the components to mirror
