Monitoring Ubuntu with SMART

Reference: Working entirely with GNU/Linux - 29. Checking hard drive SMART health

1. Installation

sudo apt-get install smartmontools

2. To view the parameters of the hard disk, you need to obtain Root permission

sudo smartctl -i /dev/sda
