My dental experience (1)

I will have a dental implant in a few days, and I want to write down my experience for your reference.

About ten years ago, half of the top 5 teeth on the right were damaged, probably because of caries.

Doctor: "Let's take a picture first."

Doctor: "From the picture, your tooth can't be filled, so pull it out."

Me: "Then pull it out".

Thinking about it now, I was really ignorant at the time, thinking that the tooth was pulled out, and it didn't matter much. Later, I heard that if the teeth are missing, they must be inlaid, otherwise the teeth on both sides will be crooked. So I made porcelain teeth, grinding off both sides of the teeth as support, and inlaid the missing teeth, commonly known as "continuous crowns, bridge crowns". Looking back from now on, I actually did implants at that time, not grinding out the two good teeth on the side. But then again, it was a poor student, and he was very poor, so he probably didn't have the money to grow crops.

Now, ten years later, the crown is removed, and after a period of selection and trade-off, the final decision is made to implant a tooth.

This section will be talked later..

In layman's terms, a dental implant is a seed that is planted in the mouth, and after a period of time a new tooth will grow. What? You took it seriously, haha, just kidding. .

In fact, a screw is screwed on the alveolar bone, which is the so-called "implant".

Before that, you need to go to the doctor to take a film called CBCT (three-dimensional) to see if the distance between the length, width and height of the missing tooth is OK. Colleagues also check whether the condition of the alveolar bone is good.

If possible, the next step is to draw blood to test various indicators, such as coagulation, hepatitis A, B, C, D, etc.

If there is no problem, go to the operating room to stand by.

Go next week until I get back.
