4.5 Migrating server roles to AD2012
1. Open powershell and use the command to migrate the server role to AD2008
Enter the command Ntdsutil
Enter the command Roles
Enter the command Connections
Enter the command Connect to server AD2012 to connect the AD2012 controller
Enter the command QUIT
Enter the command Transfer infrastructure master to transfer the infrastructure master to AD202
Enter the Transfer naming master command to transfer the domain naming master to AD2012
Enter the Transfer PDC command to transfer the primary domain controller role to AD2012
Enter the Transfer RID master command to transfer the RID master to AD2012
Enter the Transfer schema master command to transfer the schema master to AD202
Enter the netdom query fsmo command to view the current host information.
