In the previous article, we have completed the steps of adding a domain, and now we will install and configure AAD Connect.
Before installing AAD Connect, you need to install .NET Framework 3.5 on the AAD server.
Click "Add Roles and Functions" and
check ".NET Framework 3.5 Functions" as follows. Next,
specify the backup source path (the server operating system ISO needs to be loaded) "G :\sources\sxs\"
installation is complete
, log in to the office 365 management center, click "Azure Active Directory" and
click "Azure AD Connect" to download Azure AD Connect. It is recommended to download the latest AAD Connect tool
and click to install
. "
Select "Installation Location" and "Service Account",
check "Password Hash Synchronization" for installation,
enter the administrator account password of office 365 in the next step, enter the administrator account password of
the local AD in the next step,
connect the directory in the next step, and confirm Correct, in the next step,
if our internal and external domain names are different, we need to add the corresponding UPN suffix in AD, make sure that the Azure AD domain column is displayed as "Verified", and
check the OU structure we need to synchronize in the next step
. One step
is default, the next step (you can choose the corresponding option according to the actual situation)
check "Exchange Hybrid Deployment", the next step
check "Start the synchronization process after the configuration is completed", and the configuration
is complete.
After a while, you can go to the office 365 admin center to view the synchronization status, and
you can also view the synchronization records after the account has been synchronized to Azure AD
At this point, the AAD Connect installation and configuration has been completed. In the next article, we will discuss how to customize synchronization users and set attribute filtering.
