Fiddler still can't catch HTTPS packets in fiddler option settings

1: Please enter certmgr.msc in "Run", that is, the following place and press Enter to open the certificate management.

 

Once opened, click Actions--Find Certificates, as shown below:

 

Then enter "fiddler" to find all relevant certificates like this:

 

As you can see, we found one, you may find more than one, it doesn't matter, how many are deleted, after all deleted, this step is completed

 

2: Next, open the Firefox browser, go to Options-Advanced-Certificates-View Certificates, and then look for the certificate about Fiddler that starts with DO_NOT, in alphabetical order, so you can find it quickly. How many are found or how many are deleted, pay special attention, please search for the labels such as [personal, server, certificate authority, other] in the figure in order to avoid omission, remember to remember!

 

3: Download FiddlerCertMaker.exe, you can go to the official website to find it, after downloading this, install it directly until the following

 

 

Then click OK to close it.

 

4: After you have the certificate, please restart Fiddler (turn it off and on), after restarting, visit the https website, such as the Taobao homepage, it may be successful, but you may also find the following error: "Your connection is not secure " and similar prompts. Seeing this, you should be happy, and you are close to success.

 

5: Resolutely, open fiddler, "Tools--Fiddler Options--HTTPS", then tick the same place in the figure below (note the same), then click actions, then click Trust Root..., and then click Export Root... At this point, if the export is successful, you will have your certificate on the desktop. Be sure to pay attention: if this step is successful, skip step (6), don't do it, go directly to step (7), if it fails, please continue to step (6).

7: OK, after the certificate is imported from fiddler to the desktop, open the Firefox browser, and then enter: Options-Advanced-Certificate-View Certificate-Import-Select the certificate of the desktop just exported-OK.

 

8: After that, restart Fiddler, restart Firefox, and then start capturing HTTPS packets. At this time, you will find that the prompts such as "Your connection is not secure" have disappeared, and you can capture packets.
