[02] What should I pay attention to in the interview? (Turn)

【】What should you pay attention to in the interview?

This is a very difficult question to answer.

Because in the interview process, you have to pay attention to many points, such as resume preparation, appearance, presentation skills, work experience and so on.

The most important thing is that in the process of communication, don't be completely alone, ask the other party some questions when necessary, and really show your interest and concern for this company.

【】What is "don't talk too much"?

      As an example.

When the candidate sits down with me, I usually ask, "Can I introduce myself in 5 minutes?" and I can see two scenarios.

      1. Candidates start to introduce to me where they are from, which college they graduated from, and when they started working. They usually talk about their previous experience in the first 3-4 minutes, and then hurriedly spend 1 minute talking about their current company, or Talk about the company you just left. The time was short and I felt very nervous. The communication mode of this kind of person is that when I ask a question, he will think for a while, and then tell him the answers he has already prepared. Most of the performances are average, and there are very few who have some speech skills, and it is relatively natural to speak. But unfortunately, almost all of these people are eliminated.

      2. After listening to my questions, candidates will ask "Mr. Hou, what do you want to know? Is it my work experience, my strengths and weaknesses, or my work style and personality?" After answering this question, the other party will be asked to talk about his work experience.

Interestingly, after listening to my request, some candidates said, "Mr. Hou, because 5 minutes is too short, and I have worked in three big companies before, so I will focus on the company I just left. The job you are engaged in, is it alright?” To be honest, such candidates often impress me and several other examiners with admiration. Although the whole interview process is mainly based on his introduction, the interviewer himself will ask a few questions during the process. A real question that made us feel compelled to explain to him our company culture, values, and the relevant requirements for this position.

Do you know why it is so hard for the first type of people to get admitted?

     Mainly for two reasons:
