My posture when playing FPS games

The most recent FPS game I played is Overwatch ow. The difference between ow and other traditional FPS games is the combination of moba and act elements. It is more attractive to play. On the other hand, because moba requires teamwork, you will always meet teammates who are not good, or you may not play well and cause other teammates.

Due to the busy work, the time to owe is basically on weekends, basically after get off work on Saturdays. Sometimes I get busy on Saturdays and Sundays, and I don't have time to fight this week, the feeling is gone, and I can't bring my sister to score (crying face). It's hard to dismantle. Since the company moved the project team to another place, my score has dropped from 2800 to 2100, and the data of the main soldier 76 has also declined sharply. Then there are a lot of changes. For example, before mid-range Fara was a piece of cake, but now I can't; and when Genji came to harass the back row, now I can't deal with the jumping Genji very well. I analyzed the reason and found that I had forgotten how to aim before, but I felt that I was unfamiliar with the mouse, and I didn't feel like I was actually holding the weapon of Soldier 76 when I shot. So I keep recalling the mouse and sitting posture and monitor position before moving to the location, record it, and hope that the next time I hit it, I can quickly enter the state.

Below is the pose.

  • What I didn't pay attention to the most was the position of the monitor. I used to put my main monitor upright when I was in gz, but when I came to py, I tilted the main monitor. This caused the mouse pad to be tilted to the same angle as the monitor. Then I always feel that the mouse is going to slide off the mouse pad, which is the reason. Therefore, the main monitor must be positioned correctly when playing games, and the mouse pad must also be positioned correctly.
  • It is placed on the table about 10 cm behind the wrist. This makes it easy to switch between wrist movement and arm movement.
  • Sit up straight, don't lean on the chair. Leaning on the chair can easily cause the force to not be distributed on the arm, reducing the aiming degree. Sit up straight, concentrate on your arms, and make operations according to the actual situation.

The following are some aiming techniques that I found useful from the Internet, and some are my own operating habits.

  • Medium and long-range bursts, medium- and short-range bursts with splashing water.
  • When the target displacement is not large, move the mouse with the wrist to aim, such as aiming at the opposite 76 at medium and long distances. On the contrary, the arm moves the mouse to aim, such as Genji to harass, keep jumping, pull some distance and use the arm to aim and follow the gun; or Farah shifts and takes off in the air, and then uses the arm to move to aim. Note that you can use the left and right buttons to assist fine aiming, which can often achieve very precise results, such as Zarya.
  • If the target displacement is too large, you need to quickly move the mouse to adjust the position. On this basis, select the wrist or arm to aim, such as a 180° turn. When using Death God melee combat, you can also choose this way, after all, if you pull the gun too far, you may not be able to hit it.
  • When using Reaper and Tracer, aim at the target's chest, so that the bullet hits more and does more damage when it spreads.
  • When using Zarya, the left and right buttons and guns are super cool. However, my right key is not very accurate, mainly because the amplitude of the parabola is not well controlled.

That's about it. So hopefully I can get back to the way it was before.
