Practice your SolidWorks 3D CAD skills in a fun way!
Are you a beginner or intermediate user of SolidWorks and want to hone your skills? If so then join this class and together we will build a working LEGO helicopter.
During the course, we will create 31 unique parts using a variety of SolidWorks modeling techniques. We then combine these into a complex assembly and add mechanical accessories that will actually allow for the functionality of the rotor blades and tail rotor. Along the way, you'll see how a longtime CAD user with over 15 years of SolidWorks experience creates 3D parts and builds assemblies.

Note: This course is designed for existing SolidWorks users who may be a little rusty and want to pick up their skills quickly.
Complete beginners are welcome to try the course by following along with the video, but you may find another course specifically for new users more helpful.
This course uses Solidworks 2021 for teaching, but the models provided will work with any version newer than that. If you have a previous version (2015-2020 or earlier), you can still take the course, but minor details may vary and some practice file functionality may be limited.
