(1) Format update:
Our top priority is to provide prompt format updates of native CAD and standard formats in a timely manner so that applications developed by our partners can access the latest versions of these formats. Since the release of HOOPS Exchange 2023 SP1, we have released four update formats:
- Inventor 2024
- EYES 2023
- I THINK 10
- Navisworks 2024
(2) Format enhancements:
HOOPS Exchange Service Pack 2 has enhanced support for NX assemblies referencing JT parts.

(1) Enhanced support for cloud storage
HOOPS Communicator 2023 SP2 introduces more support for cloud storage, allowing users to write their own classes, inheriting from an abstract base class, to customize I/O. This feature is useful for users who wish to lay out files over WebSocket, other protocols, or in a way that cannot be read by the default Stream Cache filesystem methods.
(2) Added support for SOLIDWORKS decals
HOOPS Communicator 2023 Service Pack 2 introduces improvements to SOLIDWORKS decals, including enhanced scaling, offsetting, and clamping capabilities. In addition, HOOPS Communicator 2023 SP2 now offers support for label projection mapping, which effectively prevents distortion when projecting decals onto objects and ensures precise alignment with object surfaces. This release also provides three different transparency modes for SOLIDWORKS decals.
