Windows installation example of community edition installation of mysql
1. Download mysql
Address: https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/
After the download is complete, get the following file
mysql-installer-community-8.0.28.0.msi
2. Install mysql
2.1 Click the file in the above steps directly to initialize the installer
2.2 Start the installation, select the default installation
2.3 Click "Execute" first to check the installation prerequisites
2.4 Installation prerequisites, if Windows has already been installed in this process, it will be skipped directly, no need to install it again
2.5 The prerequisites are met, then the next step
2.6 Installation prompt, click yes
One or more product requirements were not met, the product with the missing requirement will not be installed, do you want to continue the installation?
2.7 Wait for the installation to complete, click Next
2.8 Configure the type and network protocol, just use the default value, just click Next
2.9 Set the root password, then click Next
2.10 Set the windows service, system account, just use the default value, just click Next
2.11 Apply configuration, click Next
2.12 Configure the Router, just use the default value, just click Next
2.13 Connecting Services
First enter the password in the above step, and then click check to verify that it is correct
After the verification is correct, click Next
2.14 Installation is complete
So far, the mysql service has been installed. For the workbench and shell tools, you can choose whether you need to continue the installation.
