How to stand out from thousands of online websites and become a good site in Baidu's eyes is one of the key research tasks of every webmaster. 1. HTML5 website
1) Baidu Mobile Search welcomes all web pages that are suitable for browsing on mobile devices, but HTML5 is currently the most advanced language, and it is strongly recommended to use it, which can add a lot to the later adaptation and other work.
2) The domain name setting should be as short as possible. It is recommended to use m and wap as the second-level domain name for mobile sites.
3) The URL structure should be as short as possible and able to express the idea of the page. At present, dynamic URLs are not difficult for PC search, but on the mobile terminal, let’s do a static work first.
4) The characteristics of mobile pages should be as obvious as possible. On this issue, please wait for the relevant article of the Webmaster Academy. I heard that there are already technical experts writing it.
5) Correctly adapt, or fill in the sitemap correctly, or correctly mark the applicable-device.
2. Access speed
1) At the training site, Dean Liu directly said "death in more than 3 seconds", which sounds terrible, enough to see how important the response speed is to a mobile site. This 3 seconds includes network time, server processing time, and page rendering time. Don't exceed it! 2) There is another point that was not mentioned in the training. I think it is very important, that is, the stability of access, which is the same as the PC side. I paid attention to what Mr. Sun Quan mentioned at the Guangzhou Salon last year. One day of website server downtime will have a long-term impact on the overall ranking of the site.
3. Dead link rate
1) The Baidu webmaster platform issued the "Baidu Search Standard Dead Link Official Document", and repeatedly said this issue. It seems to be very important. Think about it, when users use Baidu mobile search on the road, the result of clicking is dead. Links, or displaying "this content has expired" is really disgusting - the dean said that this is a dead link that affects the search user experience, and Baidu will be very unhappy if this happens.
2) Baidu attaches so much importance to dead links, and has always asked us to submit dead links, which made us very nervous. I once thought that as long as the page that reported 404 should be submitted. I asked Dean Liu later, and the explanation given to me is as follows: 1. Only the dead links included in Baidu can be submitted , that is, the previous page was normal, but it becomes a 404 page after being included in Baidu. 2. In addition to 404 dead links, content dead links and jump dead links must also be submitted .
4. Accessibility
1) Similar to what is said in the "Baidu Search Web Page Quality White Paper", the web page cannot be a dead link (including protocol dead links and jump dead links), and cannot be a page that must have permission or must be logged in to access.
2) You can’t force users. This should be a problem that Baidu attaches more importance to at present, including not requiring users to download the APP to see the web page content, etc. - part of the ice bucket algorithm is to combat this kind of behavior. I believe Baidu will increase its focus on this behavior in the future. A kind of attack.
3) At this stage, Baidu has not publicly promoted that it can read and understand FLASH, JS, and pictures, so do not output or express links and texts through the above methods (this was not covered in the training, but combined with other content on the scene, I feel that it should be added to remind everyone ).
5. Experience
1) Reduce the cost for users to acquire content. Generally, if a mobile site uses a tree structure, it can be controlled in three layers, namely home page - channel - content page.
2) Minimize the use of large-screen advertisements, and be careful to be dropped by the ice bucket.
3) The area of mobile web pages is limited, and it is difficult to do a lot of interactive behaviors in a limited space. Just watch the video.
6. Content Value
Baidu's judgment on the value of mobile content is mostly the same as the "Baidu Search Web Page Quality White Paper", especially the chapter on content quality. It is embarrassing to say hello to my peers if I have done this white paper several times.
