Basic principles of component selection
According to the basic general rules for general electronic component selection, the content is as follows:
- The principle of universality: The selected components have been widely used and verified, and use as few unpopular and partial chips as possible to reduce development risks;
- The principle of high cost performance: In the case of similar functions, performance, and utilization, try to select components with better prices to reduce costs;
- The principle of convenient procurement: try to choose components that are easy to buy and have a short lead time;
- The principle of sustainable development: try to choose components that will not be discontinued in the foreseeable time, prohibit the selection of discontinued devices, and prefer devices that are in the growth stage and mature stage during the life cycle;
- Substitution principle: try to choose components with more pin to pin compatible chip brands;
- Principle of upward compatibility: Try to choose components that have been used in old products before;
- Resource saving principle: try to use all the functions and pins of the components;
- The principle of ease of production: Under the conditions of meeting product functions and performance, the component packaging should try to choose surface mount type, wide-spacing type, and low-complexity type to reduce production difficulty and improve production efficiency.

Technical parameters: electrical parameters, mechanical parameters, see "device specification" for details;
- Model, manufacturer's part number including suffix, and replaceable model;
- Encapsulation, use environment and preservation environment;
- Supply channels (brands, suppliers);
- Price, and technical support.
