The CSV format is a common data format in data analysis. CSV means Comma-Separated Values, and its file stores tabular data (numbers and text) in plain text. There is only one record per line, each record is separated into fields by a comma separator, and each record has the same sequence of fields.
The CSV format can be supported by most applications and is widely used to transfer data between different systems. It is an easily compatible format. A large number of data analysis courses in the laboratory building use CSV format data sets.
