"The Tao Te Ching" | The husband is not profitable, so it can be hidden and new

"Tao De Jing" Chapter 15-Subtle and mysterious, incomprehensible:

Those who are good in ancient times are
subtle and profound, but they are incomprehensible.
The husband is only incomprehensible, so it is strong:
Yuxi is
like a river in winter; still as if you are afraid of neighbors; as
if it is like a guest; as if it is
ice and will be released; Dunxi
if it is simple;
open as if it is like a valley;
mixed Xi is like muddy; Danxi is like a
sea; if
boundless.
Xu Qing who can be turbid and quiet.
Who can live with the long-term movement?
Those who protect this way do not want to be profitable.
The husband is not profitable, so it can cover up and become new.

1. The characteristics of the Taoist

People who have attained the Tao in ancient times have
profound and profound insights that are beyond the comprehension of ordinary people.

Because he is so hidden and incomprehensible, I have to reluctantly use the following metaphors to describe him:
acting calm and cautious, like walking through a winter glacier; with a
sense of worry, like alerting neighbors to attack;
demeanor and solemn, like a guest;
attitude , Like melting ice;
simple and honest temperament, like uncut wood;
open-minded, like an empty valley;
strong and tolerant, like a turbid river; the
expression is deep and calm, like a deep ocean The same;
act agile, like the wind that doesn't stop.

Those who have attained the Tao
can
stand still in the turbid river water, and then slowly clarify themselves!

Those who have attained the Tao
can move things that are still,
'and then slowly reveal their vitality!

Second, if you are full, you will lose; if you are strong, you will grow old.

Lao Tzu believes that "things are strong and old, which means that
things are not right, and things are not right." When things develop and grow to the full extent,
they are too strong and will inevitably go to exhaustion.
That is to say, they are gradually no longer in conformity with the Tao and are
not in conformity with the Tao. Tao will soon decay.

Therefore, those who follow the Tao do not pursue wealth and
fullness ; just because they do not advocate fullness, they
stop at the right time, and do not reach the level of fullness,
so they can not fall into a dangerous situation and
can be reborn from the fire when things tend to be worn-out. Introduce the old and bring forth the new.

For example, in the field of management:
Leaders should not pursue too much growth, and
make things become full and prematurely decline;

Instead, it should be noted that development should be controlled to a certain extent, so that
it will not be full of prematurely, so that it can calmly innovate,
so that things can be in a new state with sufficient development space before they are worn-out and die,
so that they can continue to develop.
