1. Basic attributes

Usually, those materials whose process routes occupy more "key resources" are set as MPS parts, that is, MPS parts contain the company's key production resources (process routes, resources, explained in the workshop management chapter).
2. Planned quantity attributes The

4. Demand tracking information

5. Inventory unit

Units of measurement are divided into main units of measurement, purchase units, inventory units, sales units, and production units. These units can be different or the same. For example, for beer, the purchasing unit is "piece", and the inventory and sales unit is "bottle". 1 piece = 10 bottles.
First, divide the measurement units that the company can use into several groups according to the applicable objects (inventory), such as the raw material iron plates used by the machining company. This type of material will use "tons", "KG", square centimeters, "pieces", etc. , You can put these units in a group. Each unit in the group has a fixed conversion rate, a floating conversion rate, or a discrete non-conversion relationship.
The units used in this case, "Taiwan, Zhang, Film, Unit, PCS", are placed in a group, and there is no conversion relationship between them.

As shown in Figure 3- 5, click the menu item at 1 , The unit of measurement dialog box pops up, and then click the 2 "group" buttons, and the following interface pops up:

In Figure 3-6, click the "Add" button at 1 first, and then enter the unit group at 2 and 3 Code and name, these two items need to be grouped and coded for all measurement units before entering. There is no conversion relationship between the units used in this case, so select the "no conversion rate" unit group. After the entry is complete, click the "Save" button in the toolbar. Exit and return to the previous interface.

6. Inventory classification

According to the attributes of the inventory, all inventories are divided into several major categories, the major categories are then the molecular category, and the sub-category is then the molecular sub-category. Inventory classification is generally carried out before inventory coding. The inventory classification shall follow the classification and coding rules.
