vncserver: geometry 800*600 is invalid

When I pass the command: vncserver -geometry 800*600

When changing the resolution of vnc to connect to the remote desktop, the following error message appears:

vncserver: geometry 800*600 is invalid

After searching, it is found that the * sign cannot be used here, but a lowercase letter x is required.

You can view or change the default vnc resolution by viewing or editing the following files:

sudo nano /etc/init.d/tightvncserver
