Section 3 Work Center

The work center is the smallest production collection unit, which divides similar process resources into several work centers in a workshop. The work center is the basic unit of cost accounting, process ownership, and capacity evaluation.

Section 4 Plan Extension The
plan extension is not clearly mentioned in UFIDA U8, and it is implicit in the production plan MPS/MRP planning operation. The starting date of the planned renewal period is the "current date of the computer system, or the smallest date in the product forecast order averaged result". The specific application will be described in the MPS/MRP planning operation.
Section 5 Time Frame

The time frame is the time segment. Repetitive planning needs to use the time grid, and the inventory with the supply and demand policy of PE may use the time grid. The method of using the time frame will be described in the MRP planning chapter with examples.
The time frame code used in this case is 0011, which is defined as follows:

Taking the starting date of the planned extension as the starting point, divide 1 to 3 sections (at least 1 and at most 3), and specify the demand source rules for each section respectively. Assume that the planned extension is from 2019-03-01 to 2019-04-15. The three sections defined in Figure
2-13 are parsed as follows: Sections from 2019-03-01 to 2019-03-05: Customer orders are used as the source of demand, and forecasts in this section are not considered.
2019-03-06 to 2019-03-20 section: forecast + customer orders, based on the order day, first reverse and then use the order quantity to offset the forecast quantity. Cancellation cannot be carried out across segments;
2019-03-21 to 2019-04-09 segment: forecasts are taken, and customer orders are not considered.
The three-stage definition suggestion of the demand time fence: Assuming that today is the starting point of the planned extension, the demand will be clear and specific from today to the next few days. Therefore, the source of demand in the first stage is usually defined as customer orders, and the second stage is slightly further away. The source is not completely clear. There are forecasts and orders in this segment, so the source of demand in the second segment is usually defined as forecast + customer order cancellation. The third paragraph is farther, the source of demand is vague, and it can only be predicted.
There are two levels of demand time grids. One is the inventory level. In the inventory file, the demand time grid is specified for each inventory. The other is the planning level, which specifies the demand time fence in the MPS/MRP scheme.
The demand time fence does not consider any work calendar. The specific application method will be described in chapter 6 with specific examples.
The time grid code used in this case is 0012, which is defined as follows:
