Filecoin official information: Slingshot rewards and funding

The reward program is designed to involve all small and medium-sized miners around the world to improve the experience and productivity of Filecoin. Specifically, this reward program wants to build a solid, globally distributed, and reliable long-term storage foundation to accelerate the development of tools and services in the ecosystem, while improving the experience of other miners in the Filecoin community.
Slingshot has now entered stage 2.2. Compared with the previous period, the rules at this stage have been adjusted accordingly:
1. The winning amount of each team does not exceed 20% of the total reward;
2. Each project can only store one data set;
3. The data retention period is one Years and above.
In the Slingshot2.2 stage, the 11184 FIL that was not allocated in the previous stage 2.1 will also be postponed to the reward pool of this stage; plus the 25,000 FIL unlocked in this stage, the total rewards for this stage are 36184 FIL.
1. Prizes
At least 500,000 FIL rewards will be distributed in the second phase of Slingshot! This is in addition to the 50,000 FIL allocated for the first phase of Slingshot.
2. Store rewards
The Slingshot reward pool is collaborative and competitive. The more data Slingshot participants store in the network, the more reward pools will be unlocked!
Storage rewards will be issued monthly after the storage layer is unlocked. The Filecoin team's plan is to continue this competition in the next few months. The Filecoin team believes that it would be much better if the rewards could be distributed monthly instead of waiting until the end of the competition! Therefore, the Filecoin team has established a monthly reward window and will use it to determine the final reward distribution for the month.
