1. Overview
LDR6023B SSOP16 is a dual USB-C DRP
interface USB PD communication chip developed by Ledary Technology for Bridge devices in the USB Type-C standard . It has the function of transparent transmission of Power Negotiation data packets, the function of switching Data Role, and the function of
allowing smart devices to enter ALT MODE and output DP signals through VDM negotiation. It is especially suitable for USB TYPE-C docking and USB
TYPE-C interface display applications. LDR6023B is also designed for
compatibility with the different parts of the standard DP ALTMODE in the USB PD communication protocol of the Switch game console , which can well cooperate with the video output mode of the game console.

LDR6023B Pin summary
PIN3-HPD is a DP input application pin, high level enables DP signal to output
HPD signal When it is low level, LDR6023B will let the switch enter
the working state of charging only and not outputting video. Please ensure that the
HPD continues to be raised for display application scenarios
PIN4_LENS is DP mode configuration, 10k resistance pull-down means only 4lane is supported, and floating means 2lane
PIN6 is the button PIN, switch the Switch video output mode by pressing the button
PIN9_RES0 is pulled up by default, 5W is reserved for Dock, and 10W is reserved for external 10k pull-down
PIN10_ALT_LED output is low by default, high level indicates that the Switch game console has entered DP ALTMODE
can be connected to an LED light to indicate whether the device is outputting video.
