MinerX bonuses attract small and medium miners around the world to improve Filecoin's experience and productivity in the early days of the network ecosystem. In addition, the MinerX plan will also determine which areas can improve the miner experience of other members of the Filecoin community. Our criteria for selecting MinerX researchers are based on their past contributions to improving the network, such as:
- Willing to provide help and support to other miners and community members;
- Participate in and participate in Filecoin Slack and other parts of the ecosystem;
- Demonstrate an interest in Filecoin transactions/storage; and
- The diversity of geography and hardware settings.

In December, we requested an application for this program and our first batch of MinerX Fellows. 30 researchers from North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania were selected! In addition to being an active member of the community, the researchers also provide a wide range of perspectives on their personal mining settings, participation in transactions, sealing capabilities and strength (from the recently initialized miner to 600TiB). Congratulations to the selected person! The program will be officially launched next week with such first-class researchers.
MinerX 2021 course
Researchers will work to strengthen the network by accepting storage and retrieval transactions, supporting various development work, identifying areas for network improvement, interacting with the community, and expanding network coverage. In exchange, every MinerX member received continuous FIL funding.
Researchers will also provide feedback and file bug reports for the tools/implementations they use to improve the experience of all miners. In addition, they will help strengthen the Filecoin network by accepting storage and retrieval transactions, while helping Filecoin Slack and other miners in other channels.
