1. Preparation
- Veeam BR v10 server
- CentOS 7 server, minimal installation, can connect to the public network
- Ubuntu 20.10 server, minimal installation, can connect to the public network
2. Manual installation
2.1 Download the package installation source

veeam-release-deb_1.0.7_amd64
veeam-release-el7-1.0.7-1.x86_64.rpm
2.2 Install the software source
- Install under CentOS
rpm -ivh veeam-release-el7-1.0.7-1.x86_64.rpm

Install under Ubuntu
dpkg -i veeam-release-deb_1.0.7_amd64
2.3 Update the installation source
- CentOS update installation source
yum makecache fast
- Ubuntu update installation source
apt-get update
2.4 Download the Veeam Agent software package and dependencies
- CentOS download, then save all rpm packages
yum install downloadonly veeam
- Under Ubuntu, clean up the cache first, then install, if necessary, restart the installation and save all deb packages under /var/cache/ apt /archives
apt-get clean
apt-get install veeam
2.4 Install Veeam Agent offline

CentOS upload all rpm packages, install
rpm -ivh *.rpm

Ubuntu upload all deb packages, install
dpkg -i *.deb
2.5 Veeam Agent connects to Veeam BR server
3. Push installation via Veeam BR
3.1 Add protection group
3.2 Push installation of Veeam Agent
4. Download the installation package
