In 2020, when the epidemic is overwhelmed by the haze, when the distressed work prospects reach a bottleneck, I want to switch from operation and maintenance to management. It seems that this is the only way I am thirty and one years old. Through the guidance of friends, I recommend I studied PMP and finally chose the training course of 51CTO Academy after my own comparison. On the one hand, I continue to study operation and maintenance, on the other hand I hope to get the PMP certificate after the PMP training course, so that I can be competitive in the future working environment.
I started to register for the PMP course at 51CTO Academy on June 18, 2020. Based on the recommendation of friends and the reputation of 51CTO Academy, I finally chose to study together with all the students here.
During the exam preparation period, I talked intermittently for about three months. Due to the special work schedule and irregular overtime, I would prepare a week-long study plan in advance, and then follow the course gradually and systematically.
When I first entered the class, I had an overall understanding of the whole course according to the tutorial. The first time I learned the PMP video of Teacher Wang An at double speed, and took notes on the key points of the course. I was rather stupid and used Handwritten notes, prepare a loose-leaf book of A4 size, and record the key points of knowledge that the teacher said in an orderly manner.
After I watched the video for the first time and gained a deeper understanding of the PMP course knowledge, I started to check in with my mobile phone to do the questions every day, and also started the accelerated review of the second time of the video simultaneously to strengthen my grasp of the knowledge points. Exercises to reflect the deficiencies of one's own learning knowledge, so as to facilitate oneself to check the missing. Of course, it is necessary to read the wrong explanation of the exercises. When you have knowledge of blind spots, you also need to record it to strengthen your memory.
At the sprint stage, there is about a month or so before the exam. You must start to write the mock questions. You must prepare for the exam. 200 questions in 4 hours. You may be uncomfortable at the beginning, but by doing more Questions, you can adjust your own status. I did not have enough time to complete the mock questions for the first time, and can be completed in about 3 hours and 30 minutes before the final exam. However, after passing the retreat training, the results of several mock exams are not as good as ideal. They all went from 90 points to 129 points, so I was still worried about whether I could pass the exam.
When it’s time for the test, I suggest you find a comfortable hotel near the test site the day before. My test site was originally in Yuexiu District, but I was informed that I went to Tianhe East Station. So I finally booked a hotel near the test site. You must have enough sleep the day before, and then you will have enough energy to take the exam the next day. Fortunately, within 4 hours of the exam, I did a mock exercise before drinking less water and try not to go to the bathroom. However, the exam questions are all relatively I'll describe the background in a large space, so if my reading ability is average, it is recommended to exercise well during the study period, and finally finish the exam successfully. I'm relieved.
The time I was waiting for the exam results really made me very worried. I wanted to know quickly, but I was afraid that I would not pass. Fortunately, I received an email to inform PASS on January 13th. I was very happy. Through my own efforts, I was finally able to get it. To PMP certification, although not as good as the other outstanding students in the class, they are 5A, my words pass 3A1T at low altitude, thank you 51CTO, thank you Wang An team!
Through the training and learning of this PMP certification, I have developed the habit of continuous learning and systematic learning. I hope that it will continue in 2021 and set a higher goal. The next goal is the soft exam information system project manager!
