For electronic engineers, Layout is the art of hardware

Layout is a process that is sometimes pleasant and sometimes painful, but the result is absolutely enjoyable. For a person who devotes himself to Layout, in the end, he can always get a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment from the results!

I remember that I used to play a good game in 99se for a while, and then directly A+A+R. Then make any changes and send it out. At the time, I felt that Layout was just a tedious process that could not be ignored.

Later, after I went to another company, the projects I did were all complex communication and server products, and I could do two or three fpga at every turn, with a few dsp, various cpu small systems, ddr, AD/DA, etc. Automatic wiring is impossible, impossible in this life. Fortunately, the software is not 99se (99se can't carry such a complicated board)

When I manually wired a communication board with more than 8000 pins for the first time, I felt proud of it. Tossing over and over to see each layer of signal I have deployed, although it is a bit ugly, but each signal line, each fan-out, each equal length is adjusted by itself. Looking at this Layout, it is like your own child. Then there was a second child, a third child... Until now I can’t count how many children I have

It seems that this share of achievements and responsibilities has slowly begun to enjoy the process of Layout. In fact, for Layout people, isn't the whole process also creating. It's like a painter painting on a canvas. Maybe other people's seemingly boring work, for us, as long as we work hard, every time will be full of freshness and challenge. Regarding EMC considerations, the structural interference of the whole machine, the reservation of the channels, the rationality of the signal line arrangement, the perfection of the overall appearance...This is my own art...

Finally, share a short video of a foreign siege lion from layout to PCB board. Although it is a so easy board, when you see mechanical milling and drilling, a piece of art is produced. Get the final PCB, a heavy achievement.
