Intune is a very powerful terminal management SaaS application. Intune can be used to easily push applications to different types of terminals, including Windows 10, iOS, iPadOS, MAC, Android and other devices.
This article takes the push of the Microsoft Edge application to iOS as an example. The steps for other types of devices are similar and will not be repeated.
What types of applications can Intuen push?
The following types of applications can be pushed to devices through intune:
- Apps from the Apple App Store;
- Web Links;
- Built-in application;
- Line of business applications (LOB).

Create an application distribution strategy in intune
1. Log in to Microsoft Endpoint Manager management center into applications > All Applications > + Add ;

Select the iOS App Store application (if you have your own enterprise application development, you can select line of business LOB application ), then click Select
- Click the Search Store App , Edge follow the wizard to search and select Microsoft;
- Select the Microsoft Edge distributed to the target device, here select all users and all devices , click next ;

can be used for registered devices: indicates optional installation, will not be prompted in the device, only the application is displayed in the company portal APP;
