Some suggestions for newcomers who are new to the industry and new to Auto CAD-Issue 1

Written for beginners or spectators who are ready to enter the industry, these are some learning suggestions I personally summarized based on Auto CAD , hoping to help beginners deepen their understanding. The overall length is relatively long, so I will split it into three parts to explain it for your convenience.

First, the foundation is very important
practice proved that "hand-drawing board" drawing ability is the foundation of computer graphics capabilities, learning CAD, we need the knowledge and ability of descriptive geometry, needs some knowledge map capability, especially geometric mapping capabilities, Generally speaking, people with a high level of manual drawing are easier to learn and the effect is better!
  2. Step-by-step The
whole learning process should adopt a step-by-step approach. First understand the basic knowledge of computer graphics, such as relative rectangular coordinates and relative polar coordinates, so that you can master the use of CAD technology from simple to complex.
  Third, apply their knowledge
should always be combined with CAD commands in learning and practical application, not to focus spending on individual commands isolation learning; the principle of studying throughout the learning process, so they have a deep and on the drawing commands The understanding of image is conducive to cultivating one's own ability to use CAD to complete drawing independently.
  Fourth, practice makes perfect
force yourself to do some comprehensive examples, drawn graphic detail, so that they can grasp the entire drawing process from a global perspective.

  Skills to be mastered:

  1. To understand common problems

  (1) Draw the same picture. Some people drew a moderate size, while some people drew a graphic that is small or even invisible. This is because the drawing area is limited. The setting operation was not done, or although the LIMITS command was used to set it, but I forgot to use the ALL option in the ZOOM command to reorganize the drawing area. The drawing area is set according to the actual drawing needs.

Note: It doesn't matter whether there is LIMITS or not. Usually, it is fine to draw a 1:1 size, but you need to master the basic skills of zooming and panning. The key is to understand the concept of drawing scale and drawing scale. When drawing, you must consider the final drawing scale, and determine the text height and label style settings through the scale.

  (2) Someone used dashed lines to draw lines, but found that the drawn lines look like solid lines. This is caused by the inappropriate "line type ratio", which means that the "line type ratio" is too large, or it may be too small . The way to end the problem is to open the line manager dialog box and modify its "global scale factor" to an appropriate value.

Note: The most important thing is to have a basic concept of your size. If the size is small, adjust the line type ratio to a smaller size. If the graphic size is particularly large, adjust the line type ratio to a larger one. The length is generally within 10 units.

  (3) After dimensioning, sometimes it is found that the marked dimension text cannot be seen. This is because the overall scale factor of dimensioning is set too small. Open the dimensioning method dialog box and modify its value.

Note: It is very important to see the label text, and more importantly, the label line and text size should be appropriate after printing, such as 1:1 drawing, 1:100 printing, and the height of the printed text is required to be 3mm, then the height of the label should be Set it to 300, and the size of the marking line should be adjusted 100 times larger accordingly.

The above three problems are just the three most typical problems and difficulties I encountered in the process of using Auto CAD . There are too many practical problems. As a beginner, it is necessary to thoroughly understand these problems. It is very helpful to improve the quality and efficiency of drawing. Tomorrow I will continue to share the suggestions I have summarized with you, everyone will see or leave!
