1. File modification
1. The decompressed file directory after downloading the installation package.
2. Double-click to open rose2003.exe, click Change to select the path where you want to save the file, and then next.
3. The file directory under the path in step 2.
4. Open Orca assistant in the directory of step 1, and run Orca.exe as an administrator .

6. Click "File (F)" in the upper left corner to open Rose.msi in the SETUP file in the picture in step 3 , and the operation is the same as step 5 .

8. Select Rational Rose Enterprise Edition, and then click Next.
9. Select Desktop installation from CD image, and then click Next.
10. Click Next.
11. Click Next.
12. Click I accept.
13. Click Change to select the installation path, and then click Next.

16. Wait for the installation, click OK to continue the installation.
Error will pop up twice, just click OK

3. Activate the software
18. Cut the three files license.dat , Image.exe and rational.exe in the license file of step 1 to the common folder of the installation directory of step 13
19. Open the " license.dat " file in the common file in the directory of the previous step with Notepad .
20. Find the SERVER computer name ANY DAEMON rational in the 1/4 position , change it to the name of your computer device and the path of the rational.exe file . The device name can be viewed in the system settings about there, and then click Save to close.
21. Double-click to run flexlm.cpl , click the Setup interface, the
blank column on the right of Imgrd.exe:
click Browse to select the Imgrd.exe file path , and the
blank column on the right side of License File:
click Browse to select the license.dat file path .
22. Click Control, and then click Yes (Y).
23. Return to the Control interface and click Start. If "Server Started" appears, the startup is successful, and then click Status.
If the status is: **Computer device name: license server UP (MASTER)**, then it is successful.
After success, you can open Rational Rose Enterprise Edition at the start of the computer. If the start is successful, you can
skip the following step 24. Return to this page and click Next.
25. Fill in the computer device name in Server Name, and then click Finish.
26. Start the successful interface.
