On August 18, Shenzhen opened two new subway lines, Line 6 and Line 10. Don’t underestimate this subway line. This is a mixture of "cloud computing", the most modern hard-core technology.
Shenzhen Metro Line 6 starts at Science Museum Station, passes through Futian District, Luohu District, Longhua District, Guangming District, Bao'an District, and ends at Songgang Station, generally in a "7-shaped" direction. The line has a total length of 49.4 kilometers and a total of 27 stations. As the Shenzhen Midwest Rail Transit Express Line, its opening will drive the development of Guangming District and Longhua District, promote the improvement of urban spatial structure, strengthen communication with Dongguan and other surrounding urban rail transit, and effectively ease the transfer pressure of Shenzhen North Station.
Shenzhen Metro Line 10 starts at Futian Port Station, passes through Futian District and Longgang District, and ends at Shuangyong Street Station. The line is 29.3 kilometers long and has 24 stations (Gangxia North Station has not yet opened). This line combines the functions of a trunk line and a local line. It is the first north-south line in Shenzhen to adopt 8A formation. After opening, it will end the history of no subway access to Pinghu, Banxuegang, Huawei New Town and the area east of Meilin Pass. It only takes 54 minutes from Futian Port to Pinghu, which will greatly ease the traffic pressure from Futian Central Area to Bantian Section and become another "North-South artery" of Shenzhen rail transit.
The total length of the two subways is 78.7 kilometers, and cloud computing technology is currently used for dispatch.
Line 10 is the first to access the "big data" platform, using cloud computing technology to simulate train operation throughout the journey, and to monitor the subway status in real time. Through the cloud platform for comprehensive dispatch and coordination, it became the first subway in the country to introduce the concept of "cloud computing".
In order to ensure network communication under fast-moving conditions, the three major domestic operators: China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom are working overtime to deploy 5G base stations in the tunnels, and 5G signals have been fully covered on the eve of the subway's formal operation.
In addition to Metro Lines 6, 10, Phase I of Metro Line 8, Phase III of Line 2, Phase III of Line 3, and Phase III of Line 4 will also be opened to traffic this year. By then, the mileage of newly opened lines throughout the year will reach 107 kilometers, and the total mileage of the Shenzhen subway network will exceed 400 kilometers.
