According to a report from Chinanews.com, it was learned from the National Supercomputing Shenzhen Center on the 27th that E-class computers, one of the focus of the current high-tech field, will soon be settled in Shenzhen. It is planned that the computing capacity of the center will increase by at least 1,000 times by 2022. District basic scientific research, cloud computing, big data and artificial intelligence provide support.
In 2009, the Shenzhen Supercomputing Center was approved for establishment; in 2011, it was put into operation. Over the past 10 years, Shenzhen Supercomputing has served more than 30,000 user teams, completed more than 10 million computing tasks, and completed 1.5 billion core hours of computing.
