Open FSX and fly into the distance!

I've been busy these days, and the pressure is about to explode, my God. The past two hours should have regained the digital logic, but I really didn't want to do anything. A meeting was supposed to be held just now, but now it seems to have to be postponed until tomorrow; I waited for the meeting to start and I translated JAVA. I hope that the timeout problem I encountered can be solved with bufferreader.

I heard that Mr. Cheng met the orange cat in a fight today. I always think cats of certain colors are particularly unscrupulous. They often commit crimes in gangs.

I remember that I played Microsoft Flight Simulator X a long time ago with the oldest computer at home (this is a game released in 2006); I still remember a long time my laptop desktop was also a picture of me flying over the Pacific Ocean At that time, I often lay on my bed and fly a plane on Sunday nights, it should be when I was in elementary school. I played it for a while about two years ago, probably to escape the busy schoolwork of high school. I haven't opened it for a long time, until I heard the news of the upcoming release of Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 a few weeks ago (or escape from reality, the pressure has been too much recently).

I think it would be a very good idea to share some interesting pictures. It happened that I haven't published anything that has nothing to do with algorithms or JAVA or digital logic in a long time.

Start the journey!

  1. If I remember correctly, I took off from the airport in Kathmandu and drove a fighter plane to cross the Himalayas. Later, I succeeded, but when I crossed the ridge, I did encounter a lot of disturbing air currents, but fortunately my realism jumped to the lowest.

2. This time, I decided to visit another snow mountain-Kilimanjaro. I think of reading two or three Hemingway novels when I was in high school, and I think of "Out of Africa" that I didn't finish but I really liked. In short, I probably took off from Tanzania, where the Sino-Tanzanian friendship is everlasting, and flew all the way north. On the way I came across this weird rift valley, which is very close to the Great Rift Valley but it is not. I think this is just an easter egg or a bug in FSX. I flew along it for a while, and finally decided to descend and take a picture.

Although I shouldn't have high quality requirements for the game released in 2006, I decided to make a hard landing on the snow mountain to express my protest against the bleak texture.

  1. This time, I finally played the mission mode. FSX has many interesting missions. I think next I will write about the story of me driving a fighter jet from the 51st SAR to chase alien flying saucers (saving all mankind like Independence Day). During this mission, I drove a customs helicopter to track the small plane of the xx transaction. It took me a long time to get the plane to take off, and finally followed the command to find the plane. You can notice that there is a small white spot in the field of vision above the green instrument, that is, the rotten airplane reselling xx.

  1. This time I plan to take off from Damascus and land in Barcelona. Of course, Damascus is a prosperous city, and there is no such thing as a runway in the desert. In short, I thought at the time, how big the Mediterranean Sea could be, just a little wider than the Taiwan Strait, right? However, following the request of the tower, I took a circle to the east. It took almost half an hour before I saw the Mediterranean Sea. I was so excited at that time (the third picture records this moment). Later I opened the aeronautical chart and found that I had only flown about one-twelfth, so let's give up. (But FSX has a time acceleration function, you can fly across the Mediterranean at 128X acceleration).

  1. This is one of my favorite flights. One morning, when the sun was just rising, I set off from Tunisia. My destination was Sicily. Haha, I think it's a coincidence that it is exactly the same as the Allied Forces' route to liberate Italy. But this plane is indeed quite old, it is called DC-3 . I just checked the information and found out that the Meiling is not this aircraft, although they are very similar to me. This time I don't know what went wrong, and there was no navigation at all, but I successfully crossed Sicily from west to east. I flew very low on Sicily, passing villages, and winding mountains overgrown with trees. It was very relaxing.

  1. This is a short-distance flight mission called a top secret flight, taking off from a civilian airport and carrying senior officials to Special Zone 51. I think there should be wild mountains and ridges in Nevada along the way, but the terrain is still extremely spectacular from a high point. The entire voyage takes about forty minutes. I saw a fighter jet skimming at a distance of tens of meters in the twentieth minute; I was about to land in about twenty-five minutes, as you can see in the third picture. I was preparing to contact the AR51 tower. After five minutes, I could see the SAR airport in the distance. After that, with a series of visionary landing operations, I lost speed and crashed in about thirty-five minutes or so because of the premature descent. 200 meters from the airport runway.

You can notice this desperate angle, how much I wanted to save this flight.

Maybe it has something to do with switching to the tower view to appreciate my landing. I think the tower witnessed a tragic accident.

  1. Ha, this is my favorite flight. I even processed a screenshot with filters. As everyone knows, I took the history exam, which means that I have been on the optional textbook of World Heritage Collection. At the beginning of the textbook, I remember the Giza Pyramid in Egypt very far. I remember the description of the book is probably that, walking up the Nile River, not far from the outskirts of Luo, xxx stands quietly on the high ground of... I took off from the airport in the eastern suburbs of Cairo, and I did not set up any navigation. Before taking off, I opened the aeronautical chart and looked at the Nile River to the west, then took a round and flew west. I did plan to look for the pyramids, but I didn’t expect that about fifteen minutes or so, I suddenly saw their shadows at the end of my field of vision-I was observing a car on a desert road at the time, or I was planning to perform stunts over Cairo .

I want to share here a world cultural heritage that I took with Mr. Cheng during the summer vacation.

After going around the pyramid twice, I decided to fly to the south, like the British patient. The vast land of Africa.

  1. This is the mysterious flying saucer that I tried to catch up with the F18 fighter jet.

  1. Briefly, I think this should be called "air catastrophe". At that time, I took off from Jiangbei Airport and planned to come to the university town for a round (by the way, there is really nothing), I noticed the flickering lights in the distance and decided to go and watch Look, it's mostly a plane flying sideways. Then suddenly I heard the tower yelling a traffic alert, and I watched the light spot in the distance expand at an alarming rate. Before taking any measures, I decided to record this moment.

I want to stop here, I am now full of desire to write JAVA. Maybe next time I should post here "How to complete the first planned flight in FSX", that should be very interesting, I am kind of looking for an entertainment flight partner.
