1.WAN
The abbreviation of Wide Area Network. The Chinese name of WAN is Wide Area Network. When we first encountered computers in junior high school, the teacher also talked about Wide Area Network. The use of a wide area network is a large-scale, generally a collection of regional computer networks that span a large area. Our security personnel who are doing intelligent engineering must all know that the general WAN will cross provinces and cities, and sometimes it will be a country. Many subnets of different sizes can actually be small WANs. In intelligent engineering, WAN is used as an intelligent security system.
2.LAN
The LAN port is the abbreviation of Local Area Network, which is a local area network as the name implies. A local area network is a group of computers in a specific area, so it is closed. A local area network can be composed of two computers or thousands of computers. The local area network can realize file management, printer sharing and other functions. The local area network is also used as an intelligent security system and is widely used in intelligent engineering.
3.WLAN
We are familiar with it, and we use it at home. WLAN is the abbreviation of Wireless LAN. WLAN data is transmitted through electromagnetic waves, which use electromagnetic waves to send and receive data in the air, without the need for cable-like media. In layman's terms, the WAN port is an external interface for dealing with operators and higher-level networks. LAN and WLAN are internal interfaces, and internal computers, mobile phones, and PADs are all connected to LAN or WLAN.
