Although bandwidth has the same unit as rate, the objects it describes are different.

For example: you are riding your bike home from school. The speed limit on the road is 80km/h. This can be regarded as the bandwidth (maximum transmission rate). The maximum speed of an electric vehicle is 40km/h, which can be understood as the rate (rated rate). , but the car will not theoretically reach a speed of 40km/h during the process.

Therefore, the bandwidth describes the attributes of the channel, while the rate describes more of the attributes of the bit data.
