Windows2008 physical machine (GPT partition) migration to virtual machine Hyper-V can not start the solution

Solution to the problem that Windows2008 physical machine (GPT partition) cannot be started after migration to virtual machine Hyper-V

Description: Solve the problem that the Windows2008 physical machine (GPT partition) cannot start after being migrated to the virtual machine Hyper-V, prompting EFI start failure;

Ideas:

1. Use Disk2vhd-disk migration tool;

2. Mount the image .VHDX to the third-party virtual machine as a slave disk, and use DiskGenius to replace the GPT partition with the MBR partition

3. Use BOOTTICE disk tool to rebuild the boot configuration of the operating system;

4. Create a new virtual machine (first generation), mount .VHDX, start the server, and it succeeds;

Proceed as follows:

1. Use Disk2vhd-disk migration tool to make a full disk backup of the 2008 physical machine, export the .VHDX file; put the file into the third-party virtual machine as a slave disk;

2. Mount the .vhdx file as a slave disk in a third-party virtual machine, and use DiskGenius to use DiskGenius losslessly (completely retain the file) to replace the GPT partition with the MBR partition;
