Virtual machine: Windows in the virtual machine can access the Internet, but cannot ping each other with the physical machine

Problem Description

The Windows system in the virtual machine can access the Internet, but cannot ping with the host, as shown in the following figure: 

 

Tip: If your virtual machine is not a windows system but a Linux system, if you cannot access the Internet or ping Baidu, click to enter .

Solution steps

1. Enter the windows system in the virtual machine, and enter "firewall" in the query box on the menu bar

As shown in the figure below, click " Windows Firewall with Advanced Security "

2. Click "Inbound Rules", as shown in the figure below

Find " File and Printer Sharing (Echo Request-ICMPv4-In) ", double-click these options, and set them to start.
