Visualization is not simply a data display. Its real value is to design a data display that can be easily understood by readers.
"in principle"
1. Choose a chart that tells a story
You first need to think clearly about what you want to achieve, what information to convey, and who your users are.
2. Cut elements that are not related to the story
This does not mean to halve the amount of data, but to pay more attention to chart garbage, redundant information, unnecessary instructions, shadows, decorations, etc. The beauty of visualization is that it can strengthen and convey the story you want to express. (But don't use 3D charts-it will bias the visual perception effect).
3. Design for a better understanding
After creating the visualization prototype, take a step back and consider how to make it easier for readers to understand the data. What other simple elements can be added, fine-tuned or removed? Maybe you want to add a trend line to the linear chart, or you may find that the pie chart has too many slices (6 slices at most). These subtle adjustments will bring great changes.
Follow the principles and refer to the copyable cases brought by SOOUI (SOOUI) , this will no longer be a boring job
