Create shortcut keys for specific apps
For example, if you want the image in "Photo" to be flipped horizontally, you usually need to select "Image-Flip Horizontally". Select "-System Preferences-Keyboard-Shortcut Keys" in the menu bar, select "Apply Shortcut Keys" from the list on the left, and then click the "+" button to add a new shortcut key to quickly complete the level Flipped over.
Creating custom shortcut keys is easy: just enter the name of the menu command and select the key combination.
Select "Photo" in the pop-up menu, and then enter "Horizontal Flip" in the "Menu Title" field. The content you enter here must be consistent with the name of the related command displayed in the menu, including punctuation. Then, enter the key combination you want in the "Keyboard Shortcuts" field, which must contain one of the four keys Command, Option, Shift and Control.
We recommend that you select the keys related to the command itself for memorization. For example, set the shortcut key for horizontal flip to "Shift-Command-H", and use the letter H to stand for Horizontal. In addition, do not select shortcut keys that are already in use in the App. Finally, click "Add" to start using shortcut keys.
Create global shortcuts
You can also create shortcut keys that apply to all apps. For example, if you plan to save any document as a PDF, you usually need to open the print dialog and find the corresponding command in the PDF pop-up menu below.
The steps to create a shortcut key for it are similar to the above. In the pop-up menu, select "All Applications", enter "Save as PDF" in the "Menu Title" (spaces are required), and then set the shortcut key.
The "Save as PDF" command in the print dialog is very useful, but it is usually hidden too deeply. Set a shortcut key to make it easier to use.
We chose "Command-P" as the shortcut key for this command. Some friends asked, isn't it a shortcut key for printing? It doesn't matter, because "Save as PDF" will only appear in the print dialog, so these two shortcut keys will not conflict. You can use this command by pressing "Command-P" twice-the first time you open the print dialog, and the second time you call up the "Save as PDF" interface. Isn't it easier?
